TAKEAWAYHUNGER – Mediacorp Young Lions Competition 2018 Digital Winner Entry

In partnership with Food Bank Singapore, #TAKEAWAYHUNGER aimed to raise public awareness on the existence of food insecurity in Singapore by hijacking user experience on online food delivery platforms. It leverages on many Singaporean’s existing lifestyle behaviors of ordering food deliveries to highlight the pressing issue of food wastage and foster empathy within them.

The idea being when users order food, they are fed bite-sized facts about Singaporeans facing food insecurity and be reminded to order only what they can finish. They are also urged to donate to Food Bank and are directed to Food Bank’s website for more information.

This project won the Digital Winner Entry for the Mediacorp Young Lions Competition 2018. All ideations and creatives were done within 48 hours.
